Missed checks

I just installed 2.6.  I have noticed that for some reason some checks just
stop happening.  When I look at the scheduling queue it shows these services
with a Next Check time in the past.  They never get checked again until I
either restart or click on the reschedule icon at the right.

Any idea what is going on.
