nagios_command_check not working correctly

nagios -v: Nagios 1.4
uname: Linux Gestion-monitor 2.6.16-gentoo-r7
/etc/make.conf: USE="-X -opengl -ipv6 apache2 nagios snmp fontconfig xpm"

su nagios -
nagios at Gestion-monitor /etc/nagios $ /usr/nagios/libexec/check_nagios
/var/nagios/status.log  5 'nagios'
Nagios ok: located 2 processes, status log updated 3 seconds ago

nagios at Gestion-monitor /var/nagios $ ls -l status.log
-rw-rw-r--  1 nagios nagios 43091 Jun  7 17:49 status.log
