Problems on Solaris 10?

Has anyone else had problems running the latest Nagios 2.9 on Solaris 10 (SPARC)?
I've noticed a few issues, but most notably that hundreds of service checks are not scheduled with 24 hours of starting Nagios, even though the check interval is 10 minutes for most checks.
Just wondering if perhaps some dependencies need to get updated or similar.
