check_by_ssh issues

This is just weird:
ssh -i /usr/local/nagios/etc/.ssh/id_dsa -l nagios
fully.qualified.hostname.com /usr/local/bin/nagcheck
produces output, run as nagios.
Running the check_by_ssh binary, with this command line:
./check_by_ssh -H fully.qualified.hostname.com -l nagios -i
usr/local/nagios/etc/.ssh/id_dsa -C "/usr/local/bin/nagcheck"
results in being asked for a password.
Any ideas?
