No output returned from plug-in

The plugin doesn't fail when run manually:
newton2:/usr/lib/nagios/plugins# sudo -u nagios ./check_nrpe -H DWDEV -c
disks_DWDEV
All filesystems at less than 95% capacity.
It only fails to show output on the webpage.
