Dear Nagios user.

I would like to ask you about some Nagios notification configuration.

On my Nagios I have two notification, one is via email, and second is via SMS.

And now if some problem will appear I have got both alert email and sms, what is correct. But know on my servers some problems
Cannot be fixed in 5/10 minutes. (Two servers every day are busy durning the day). And know I’ve got SMS and email any time
When this is chcecking – which in my confirmation is every 2 minutes.

I would like to ask you that is possible to configure get on SMS when some problem with appear?
For example:
- everything is OK --- no alerts
- I have some problem (but it will take langer to fix that 5 minutes) – I would like to get only one SMS, but I can get a lot of emails
- When the problem will be fixed – and for example will appear after two/three hours – I would like to get again only one SMS

It is possible?

Marcin Praczko.
