acknowledge a service problem - change defaults

Hello,
 I am using both Nagios 2.10 and Nagios 3.0.1 ... We ack issues all the time but we always uncheck the bottom 2 of the three check boxes. The emails just add to the noise most times. Is there a way to set that so that happens by default? Thanks, -Seth
