Help installing Nagios monitoring agent on AIX 4.3

Hi All,

 

I am having problems installing Nagios Agent on AIX 4.3

 

I have followed the document to install Nagios-plugins
nagios-plugins-1.4.11.tar.gz and NRPE plugins nrpe-2.12.tar.gz . I get error
when running make command after ./configure on nagios-plugins. The error is:

make: 1254-004 The error code from the last command is 1.

I have even tried installing the AIX Specific packages available on the
Nagios Exchange (e.g. nrpe-aix-5.2.tar.gz), but no success.

 

The document I followed to install NRPE for Linux/UNIX is the one available
on www.nagios.org <http://www.nagios.org/>  and written by Ethan Galstad.

 

If any one has successfully installed Nagios Monitoring Plugins/Agent on AIX
4.3, please let me know how you did it.
