Error in parsing config files?

Hi List,
I'm using Nagios 3.0RC1.
My config files are stored into different directories which are loaded
recursively by Nagios on startup.
Regularly all my hosts get the well known and documented error:
"Return code of 127 is out of bounds - plugin may be missing"
I can be working for 5 hours without this error, and when I add a host or
change 1 line somewhere in a config file, suddenly all checks return this
error.
The strange thing is that when I remove for example an empty line out of a
random config file, add it again, save the config file and restart Nagios,
the errors disappear and everything works again as it should be.
It's quite annoying, and it's difficult to troubleshoot this since I can't
always reproduce the problem.
Anyone has encountered this?
Thanks,
Js
