State of Dependent Services

Can't seem to find this in the docs and I don't have a non-production
installation to play with at the moment so I figure I'll ask.
Say I have service A dependent on service B. I get that checks of A are
suspended while B is down but I'm not clear on what state this time
appears in on the availability report for A. Is there something like
"unknown" for services like "unreachable" for parent-child
relationships?
Thx,
Paul
