I'm currently monitoring a service on a Windows Server 2003 SP2 box.
After updating the software, the service name has changed. I've modified
the Nagios config file, verified and re-started.
When I try to verify from the command line with the following:
./check_nt -H {SERVER_IP} -s {PASSWORD} -v SERVICESTATE -d SHOWALL -l
dltkprocessserver
I get the following error:
Connection refused
Could not fetch information from the server
In the Service Detail, it shows the following:
Host Service Status Last Check
Duration Attempt Status Information
{SERVERNAME} WARNING 01-15-2008 08:45:00 0d 17h
56m 7s 3/3 dltkprocessserver: Unknown
It doesn't say the service is down, it just says unknown. I got the
process name from both a tasklist /svc and in the Services list in
Windows, have verified the spelling several times. Any ideas?
I'm running Nagios Version 3.0b5 on Debian Linux
