Status tables are always corrupt after a clean shutdown

I installed Nagios with a MySQL backend. Each time I try to turn on the
nagios server (the MySQL server is running on it) after a clean
shutdown, I find the status tables corrupt. Nagios fails to start till
I repair the tables, any idea?
