Configuring pnp4nagios questions

the only thing you need, are plugins which produce performance data.
Have a look and run the plugin from the console. The most plugins have
after the Pipe (|) the data you need.
So, if you told nagios, to work with them (take look on the nagios.cfg
for perfdata), pnp works out of the box.

with Nagios 3, you can use the template to add the "action_url". But
with 2.6 you have to add the action_url to every host/service, if want a
nice link.
