Hello Experts,

Resolved the issue by using :

--with-nagios-group=nagios --host=x86_64-redhat-linux

 Hello Nagios Experts,

While installing Nagios Plugins 1.4.9 i see the following errors :

# ./configure --libexecdir=/usr/lib/nagios/plugins --with-nagios-user=nagios
--with-nagios-group=nagios
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking for gawk... gawk
checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... yes
checking build system type... x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu
checking host system type... x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu
checking for gcc... gcc
checking for C compiler default output file name... a.out
checking whether the C compiler works... configure: error: cannot run C
compiled programs.
If you meant to cross compile, use `--host'.
See `config.log' for more details.

Then check config .log :

The CORE TEST portion shows :
