Hi all, I'm trying to understand the escalation process in Nagios but think I'm missing a trick
somewhere, this is what I want to do.
If I have a service that is down I would like 3 email sent out and then after the 3 mails I would
like this to escalate this to send out SMS sent and then stop.
So in my escalations I have the following but unsure if it’s the correct format.
First escalation: 3 because as I understand it this will occur after 3 mails have been sent.
Last Escalation: 3 because I want 3 SMS sent after my 3 mails.
Is this the way to do it or have I not got the correct understanding of it
Thanks all
Craig
