Plugin to monitor a file

There is a check called "check_file_age" which checks file size and age.  It can then easily be tweaked (just do the reverse logic) to check a file to see if it was changed/modified.

 

So you can check to see if the file is changing (eg, a log file), or check to see if someone modifies a file (change to a critical config file).
