Hit o all!,my name is Matias and my english is not very well (i hope you can
understand me). I have a new installation of nagios in a Debian 6. I´m
install nagios from source (tar.gz) and I have the same error (I post it at
the bottom).
I´m google it, but I cannot find anything
I tried to reinstall the Debian
and reinstall the nagios, and dosen´t work. I´m install nagios from apt-get
command, and the same error appears.
The error says, that I cannot a directory, but when I created, the problem
persist. I think is a problem with permissions.
The line in the nagios file is:
check_result_path=/usr/local/nagios/var/spool/checkresults

Check your configuration file(s) to ensure that they contain valid
directives and data defintions. If you are upgrading from a previous
version of Nagios, you should be aware that some variables/definitions
may have been removed or modified in this version. Make sure to read
the HTML documentation regarding the config files, as well as the
'Whats New' section to find out what has changed.
