Nagios on CentOS

I wouldn't blindly install them without testing, but I've been using dag's for a long time in many environments and no issues.  I mainly use RPM's for management via puppet since source installs would be tougher to manage on a larger scale.

I would be very cautious about installing third-party rpms on a 
production server.  You may introduce dependency issues which will 
affect future system updates.

Compiling nagios from source is dead simple and well documented.
