Hello;
In commands.cfg you specifies the mail comand are Nagios using.
#command_line /usr/bin/printf "%b" "***** Nagios *****\n\nNotification
Type: $NOTIFICATIONTYPE$\nHost: $HOSTNAME$\nState:
$HOSTSTATE$\nAddress: $HOSTADDRESS$\nInfo: $HOSTOUTPUT$\n\nDate/Time:
$LONGDATETIME$\n" | /bin/mail -s "** $NOTIFICATIONTYPE$ Host Alert:
$HOSTNAME$ is $HOSTSTATE$ **" $CONTACTEMAIL$
I do not know how you could change with mail comand the from, or how
you could change "from" for the nagios user in your system... but that
is the solution:
change in system or in mail comand of command.cfg
Answer is not completed but is a little help.
Excuse me my English
Arkaitz
