nagios 1.4.1 on centos 5.6 64bit

Marco:
    Please check config and permissions. Maybe your config is going to
/usr/local/nagios/var/nagios.lock. But real place is
/var/nagios/nagios.lock.
    That's why you get this error. If your config is right, than maybe is
permissions problem. Please check /var/nagios 's owner and group and check
the mode.
    Usually, /var/nagios 's owner is nagios and group is nagios. Hope can
help you.
