Hi,
a little question:
what's the difference between contacs and host in nagios-objects?
Scheduled-downtime could be set as a fixed downtime for a long time, so i
think it's possible for the fabuluos nagios-programmers to implement a
scheduled-downtime for all objects (might be imlemented in Nagios 2.x).
Today we handle this problem in configuring contacts, each admin is member of
a contactgroup, so we have to delete / comment his pager-number, so they
don't get sms in their holidays, but they receive the mails from nagios, so
they are able to know what's happend in holiday times ...
Regards
Michael
