The way Internet Explorer plays EMBED wav files.

Dear Nagios developers,
Because the way Microsoft has made changes to Internet Explorer, some newer versions of these browsers can't play alarms automatically.
Refer to MS Knowledgebase http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/?url=/workshop/author/dhtml/overview/activating_activex.asp
Would there be a way to enable an option in Nagios (that could be turned on or off) to change the way WAV files are embedded into the HTML code sent to the browser, based on the client version?
Best,
Bjornar Simonsen
