nagios 3.0 remarks

Hi list,


First : After compilation, Nagios gives you a nice screen giving you  
options to pass to the make install command. It seems that it has not  
been updated for three because it lacks the make install-webconf.

You can continue with installing Nagios as follows (type 'make'
without any arguments for a list of all possible options):

   make install-init
      - This installs the init script in /etc/init.d

   make install-commandmode
      - This installs and configures permissions on the
        directory for holding the external command file

   make install-config
      - This installs sample config files in /usr/local/nagios/etc

Second : active_host_enabled in nagios.cfg and in host definitions.  
tac.cgi confirms that fact but in the web interface menu view  
configuration --> view config --> hosts says it is not.
