No, it's a slap in the face of people who spend their precious time writing
AddOns, plugins, HowTos, recommending or simply using Nagios. These people
are the reason why Nagios became the number one, it's not the core software
alone.

Maybe Ethan can stop giggling for a moment and answer the questions:
Is it worth to spend more time on the aparently abandoned Nagios?
Do you make a difference between people writing voluntarily software for the
Nagios ecosystem and Nagios Enterprises employees?
Do you make a difference between users of the Nagios software and customers
of Nagios Enterprises?
Where do you personally see (the open source version of) Nagios in 5 years?
