In my case nagios daemon died (sorry for that "stops") - there was no nagios process ;( I run nagios 2.1 on suse 10.0 ./configure \ --with-cgiurl=/nagios/cgi-bin \ --with-htmurl=/nagios \ --with-lockfile=/var/run/nagios.pid \ --with-nagios-user=daemon \ --with-nagios-group=daemon \ --with-command-user=nobody \ --with-command-grp=www \ --prefix=/ \ --exec-prefix=/sbin \ --bindir=/sbin \ --sbindir=/lib/nagios/cgi \ --libexecdir=/lib/nagios/plugins \ --datadir=/share/nagios \ --sysconfdir=/etc/nagios \ --with-init-dir=/etc/init.d \ --localstatedir=/var/log/nagios \ --with-gd-inc=/usr/include/gd \ --with-perlcache all was OK, until one branch gateway started flapping - nagios beginned flapped too ;)) after flapping detection switched off all was OK again. Now flapping is over, and i switched flapping detection on, hope everything will ok. <div id="sig"> </div>
