<tt>I'm unsure of the availability reports as I do not use them. As
for the scheduling of automated downtime, I have my own script written
for this process because as your assumption is correct that recurring
downtime isn't supported directly as far as I know in v2.6.</tt><br>

Thanks for the suggestion. We have tried this in the past and found
that recurring Scheduled Downtime skews Nagios' Availability report.
It's my understanding that Nagios won't check the host or service if it
is in scheduled downtime. Is this incorrect?

Also, what do you use for automating the scheduling of downtime? I've
seen a few tools available as add-ons but to my knowledge, Nagios
doesn't inherently support recurring downtime. Again, is that correct?
