Sorry for my own followup. I don't think that you are using
%config(noreplace). I have naemon.cfg.rpmsave and resource.cfg.rpmsave
which both match my own configuration files. They should be
naemon.cfg.rpmnew and resource.cfg.rpmnew, and those should have the new
default configurations rather than overwriting my own.
