Warning - slightly off topic (nagat lists are SO inactive)

Has anyone sucessfuly written a nagat plugin for mysql?

I've written a very dirty hack to let me use mysql for the hostextinfo 
in nagat (ask if you wanna try it) but as there isn't much doc on nagat 
plugins I didn't do it the 'proper' way. Anyone had any fun with it?
