Is this possible?

I want to submit a host check passively.  I don't think it's possible. 

I want to do this because I have many hosts dependend on one other host,
and I monitor that depended-on machine with a tight loop in an external
script.  I'd like to feed the information from the script into nagios.cmd.

Can this be done???
