Since downtime only suppress notifications and not services, just
putting a host in a downtime also acts as putting all services on that
host in a downtime. The check logic will check the service health. If
the services check fails, Nagios will next check the host. If the host
is down, the check will fail and notification would only be sent about
the host down. But if the host is in a downtime, no notifications will
be sent.
