Filter HTML on list!?

Is there anyway we can put a filter on the one day summaries to remove all
the HTML nonsense I see everyday.  It makes it very hard for me to read the
messages which in turn makes it hard for me to help anyone on the list.

It also makes the list much larger than it could be!

Any list moderators have a comment on this?
