Logo preference

I'm curious to see what other Nagios folks prefer as far as logos for
their status map go. Do you prefer to have a miniature picture of the
device (say a router, switch, or in my case a PacketShaper) or do you
prefer to use the company's logo (like Redhat, Apple's apple, or BSD's
Devil)? I created a set of images for my PacketShaper 4545 this morning
from a large tiff the company provided. The png looks pretty good (good
enough I think) but the gd2 image is a bit off.

One thing I couldn't find in any docs is what to set the "chunk size" to
for pngtogd2.
pngtogd2 PS4500-40x40.png PS4500-40x40.gd2 1 1
I used a chuck size of 1 and uncompressed fmt (whatever that is, I just
remember the docs did say to keep the image uncompressed for CPU's sake).
Should I have done something else?
I guess this question is in two parts. Did I make the gd2 correctly and
does the general nagios userbase prefer miniature picturess of devices or
rather company/product logos?
