I'm running nagio-1.0 with nagios-plugins-1.3.0-beta2 on a RH 7.2 box with
no problems.

# ./configure  --prefix=/usr/local/nagios 
--with-cgiurl=/tools/nagios/cgi-bin --with-nagios-user=nagios --with-nagio
s-grp=nagios
