Notification to Mobile.....

I'm doing it in a similar way, sending alerts to mobilenumber at T-Mobile gateway. The only problem
with those message services is the fact that you do not have a determined delivery time
for the SMS from the message center to the mobile. Somtimes I'm ending up receiving alarms at
7am in the morning, that had been sucessfully sent to the T-Mobile gateway at 10pm the night before.
Not really usefull if a box is already down for 9 hours when the alarm finally reaches you.

I did this at a pervious company. We used the vodapage gateway service
and we just sent an email to the mobilenumber at vodapage.net and it went
to trhe correct person. It worked great, too good infact that I always
knew when something went down at 4am, even when I wasn't on shift (Doh!)
remember to get your notifications and time periods sorted

I just set up an email-to-SMS address with our mobile phone service, and
send out emails.
