Problem with plugin

I tryed to install the Problem as mentioned in the install file. But as you 
can see it stops by the ping - something. I don't have any idea what the 
Problem could be.

I didn't have any problem installing the nagios main programm.

OS: Mandrake 9.0 (Download Version)
CPU: PII 450Mhz
Ram: 400MB
