Checking Nagios Process

I compiled in all the Mysql items I could and they are working just
fine.  The nagios process info is in the 'programstatus' table and the
PID matches when I run 'ps auxw' from command line.  The problem is,
when I use the CGIs, it still shows that the process is not running.  I
checked cgi.cfg and the correct information is in there for database
access.  What else do I need to do to make this work?
