Hi All,
For about 2 weeks any email that I have sent to
nagios-users at lists.sourceforge.net has bounced. See below for a copy of
the latest message.
It seens that externalmx.vasoftware.com is not being allowed to connect
to mail.sourceforge.net :(
Is anyone else having this problem? Who should I contact to ask for help?
Thanks,
Greg

Hi all,
Our network department schedule network outage on Wednesday night from 10pm
to 7am.
I'm going to change the timeperiod that checks get executed:
generic-template.service.cfg:
check_period 24x7
24x7.timeperiod.cfg:
wednesday 00:00 - 22:00
thursday 07:00 - 24:00
Obviously this will blanket remove any
checks/notifications/anything_nagios_does during this period.
Are there any comments about other methods that might be used to specify
regular downtime?
TIA,
