host image

Look under 'Extended Information Configuration' in the manual..

Basically you have to crate a file 'xedtemplate.cfg' and point it out in cgi.cfg;
xedtemplate_config_file=/usr/local/nagios/etc/xedtemplate.cfg

In the file you can define various information;

define hostextinfo{
host_name               sheriff
icon_image              linux40.png
icon_image_alt          Linux
vrml_image              linux40.png
statusmap_image         linux40.gd2
2d_coords               200,19
}


You also have to dowload some images and put them in /usr/local/nagios/share/images/logos

and still analyzing till now ..

one question for this 'Hi' is how to change the image of the host ? let say
it is a linux box, router, sun etc
