Anyone Monitoring a GroupWise server?

Is anyone monitoring a GroupWise server?

I have already setup the check_tcp to look at port 1677 but I would
like to include some 'check' and 'expect' arguments to the command so I
can confirm that the actual service is functioning.   If you have an
example that I can work with that would be great.
