SNMP seems like a good trick. Use the check_snmp plugin. Check out
http://mibcentral.com for the values you can find on a Microsoft box.
Turns out that at least on a W2K box the CPU/MEM/DISC values can be
retrieved in one way or the other using SNMP. Of course you'll need
the UCD SNMP package or something similar installed on the nagios server,
but on the other hand: you don't need to install anything on the PC(s).
