Router Monitoring Tool

Hello All !!! 
Do you know any nagios plugin or another tool to monitor routers and other networks equipaments ? I need to monitor network traffic and the operacional system of the equipament , I had used the MRTG but it´s don´t give me a response that I want , It´s can monitor only the traffic . 
Can anyone help-me , please ?
