change in date/time format in nagios logs

Hi can anybody teel me how can I change the format of
the dat/time output in nagios logs.Such that it could
read easily.Here is an example of my nagios.log.

[1032912585] Nagios 1.0b5 starting

[1032912585] HOST
NOTIFICATION:nagios;server1;DOWN;host
    
example of status.log

[1032917145] Service:proxyserver;ssh;OK;1/3;HARD .....
