Hi nagios gurus,
I am just wondering how do i tell Nagios to properly schedule ALL services for
checking? I am running Nagios 1.0.
SERVICE SCHEDULING INFORMATION
-------------------------------
Total services: 24
Total hosts: 5
Command check interval: -1 sec
Check reaper interval: 3 sec
Inter-check delay method: SMART
Average check interval: 120.000 sec
Inter-check delay: 5.000 sec
Interleave factor method: SMART
Average services per host: 4.800
Service interleave factor: 5
Initial service check scheduling info:
--------------------------------------
First scheduled check: 1049618861 -> Sun Apr 6 08:47:41 2003
Last scheduled check: 1049618976 -> Sun Apr 6 08:49:36 2003
Rough guidelines for max_concurrent_checks value:
-------------------------------------------------
Absolute minimum value: 1
Recommend value: 3
# ORPHANED SERVICE CHECK OPTION
# This determines whether or not Nagios will periodically
# check for orphaned services. Since service checks are not
# rescheduled until the results of their previous execution
# instance are processed, there exists a possibility that some
# checks may never get rescheduled. This seems to be a rare
# problem and should not happen under normal circumstances.
# If you have problems with service checks never getting
# rescheduled, you might want to try enabling this option.
# Values: 1 = enable checks, 0 = disable checks
check_for_orphaned_services=1
max_concurrent_checks=100
service_reaper_frequency=3
But, it doesnt seem to solve the problem. I am still having some services
unscheduled and never get checked.
