notify-by-email problems (body of message missing)

I'm not seeing any body in the messages sent by nagios, I've not had this problem in the past with netsaint, so I'm not really sure where to check.  I did not modify misccommands.cfg, so that should be default.  Any help or ideas appreciated.  Nothing jumps out in nagios.log.
