Error: Could not stat() command file '/usr/local/nagios/var/rw/na gios.cmd'!

One other thing that is odd and may just be a typo is that in the subject of this email, na gios.cmd has a space in it, while in the body below, it doesn't. Just something to verify in the config file.

Subject: [Nagios-users] Error: Could not stat() command file '/usr/local/nagios/var/rw/na gios.cmd'!
List,
Randomly, I am unable to send commands to Nagios. It was working okay. When I do I get:
Error: Could not stat() command file '/usr/local/nagios/var/rw/nagios.cmd'!
I have made no changes to the server, nor have others.

I'm not sure what the issue is, could anyone provide pointers? I've checked the FAQs and Docs, yet I see nothing that fixes the issue.
