Nagios - Seems to stop checking on some hosts

Here is the setup, we have Nagios setup to Ping each of our hosts to make sure it is up and running.  For the most part this is working, however, after a few days, Nagios seems to stop pinging stuff.

For example, today I look and see that the last check for one of our servers was 4-23-2003 15:03:51 and the next scheduled check is, 04-23-2003 15:08:15.

We are running the latest version of Nagios and plugins (I just downloaded them last week - so Version 1.0 and version 1.3.0 of the plugins.

Any thoughts?
