Monitoring - 1000+ hosts and latency

[solo molo]

Thanks.  Is this patch in CVS or did you write it yourself?  Also when you 
say it was unbearable before patching are you referring to the number of 
nagios proccesses or the latency between receiving passive check results and 
having them show up in the UI?
