Allowing users only to see certain hosts

The only way to allow a user access to specific hosts is to create a new
hostgroup with the hosts you want him to have access to (or to use existing
ones). Your 'name database' method you describe below could be as simple as
creating a new hostgroup named 'Contact X' for the contact name 'X'
I think a new method of authorization was discussed here or on the devel
list about a month ago... but I can't seem to find anything on it.
