error while compling nagios

hi all,

When iam say make all iam getting the following error.
can anyone pls helpme out to solve this problem.

I get the same sort of error when i try to compile without database support.

../xdata/xrddb.c:252: undefined reference to `mysql_real_connect'
/tmp/ccty0tWe.o(.text+0x40d):../xdata/xrddb.c:254: undefined reference to `mysql_close'
