Does it seem kind of redundant to have a PING service on a host since
the check_host command for a host definition also performs a ping?
Also, if a service, for example NSClient performing a check_nt, for some
reason can't hook up with the client piece returns an error "unknown" or
"can't connect to the client". Isn't it supposed to first check to see
if it's a "Host Down" situation before I get numerous pages about
NSClient?
